Today I intended to find a shortcut to a tunnel I explored a few weeks ago. It's not a complete success; the shortcut exists, but going through this restriction doesn't save you any time compared to the existing passage.
The video shows only the first few minutes of today's exploration, passing through a restriction I'd already seen but hadn't caught my attention. The reason I decided to try it was because I already knew where I'd end up.
The area is a massive collapse, a block of stone that had detached itself from the surrounding material, creating a semicircular crack that reveals a deeper, wider area. This area can be reached from a previously explored point, but reaching it requires swimming around the large collapse zone.
A shortcut there would save me 15 minutes swimming, which would also reduce the amount of gas I'd need.
Passages between collapsed rocks aren't my favorite, for obvious reasons. The risk of some rocks moving is higher than in a karst passage; in this case, the safety margin was guaranteed by the fact that I most likely knew where I was going and that I had two other routes to reach the exit.
